By accessing or using Cutline ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Cutline is an AI-powered product management platform that provides pre-mortem analysis, risk assessment, and product evaluation tools. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze product information and generate recommendations.

Important: AI-generated analysis is provided for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for business decisions. You are responsible for validating all recommendations.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to compete directly with Cutline

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to the product briefs, business information, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Cutline and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

Analysis and recommendations generated by our AI are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness. You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • AI analysis should be validated by human judgment
  • We do not guarantee any specific business outcomes
  • You are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI analysis

8. Confidentiality

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUTLINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cutline and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
  • You may request export of your data within 30 days
  • We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
